Raise Up is a Leadership Programme for young people between 13 to 18 years old who want to make a difference in their community. As a group we learn leadership skills through event management by running events, workshops and outreaches in the community that are youth led and driven. Your ideas turn into real events in your community!
The programme is run by the Y and by becoming a crew member with us you gain:
- Leadership Skills
- Make New Friends
- Upskill Yourself in CV Building, Public Speaking, Conflict Resolution and more.
- Gain Volunteer Hours
- A Free Y Gym Membership
- Access to Large Events such as: New Found Sound (Youth driven music competition), Walk the Line (Youth led fashion show), Raise Up Camp, and Raise Up Graduation
You must be able to commit 2 hours on Thursdays, attend the events you create and be open to making new friends!
