ALBANY COMMUNITY HUB

A multi-functional community facility located on Albany Domain.
Harbour Sport has been been contracted by the Upper Harbour Local Board to manage the facility and provide, access, (venue hire) activation, and programming of services for our community.
Our purpose is for the Hub to provide fair, easy, and affordable access to a safe and welcoming venue to enable communities to use the space they need for their activities. To enable and co-ordinate a wide range of activities that cater to the diversity of your local community and to develop and deliver programmes that respond to a need or gap in our local community and that meet the diverse range of ages, ethnicities and genders of our community.

Fruit Growers Room
A carpeted space for larger functions, holiday programmes, workshops and seminars. Easy access to the shared commercial kitchen with serving hatch makes it perfect to serve refreshments or food. Fit for 40 people. Trestles and chairs are available with power and ethernet points along the walls, 2 heat pumps and double doors to the covered outside area.
Albany Beauty Room
A beautiful carpeted space fit for 20 people seated. Trestles and chairs available with power and ethernet points along the walls. Heat pumps and double doors to the covered outside area.
Albany House
A separate building, perfect for dance groups, exercise sessions or larger workshops with a large wooden floored space fit for 40 people with an adjoining kitchen, outdoor covered deck leading onto the garden and a heat pump.
Gravenstein Room
For small meetings, counselling, consults or teaching, with easy access to the kitchenette and bathroom facilities.
Kitchen
A large commercially rated kitchen with 6 working stations at the centre island and plenty of bench space around the perimeter.

The perfect venue for your regular workshops, meetings, programmes, events and more!
We have a lovely community venue with a commercial kitchen, communal garden and book library, and plenty of recreational and play equipment on hand.
